What is 25 Dollar 1 Up about?

I got sent an email concerning 25 Dollar 1 Up and also have seen this program getting a lot of buzz on social media so I thought I would check it out to see what’s good with it.

25 Dollar 1 Up is said to be a digital franchise that provides you with the knowledge, the time freedom and lifestyle changing income that you have been looking for.

They claim you don’t need any prior experience or that this has nothing to do with MLM, but it’s no better than that and I’ll show you why in a bit.

The spokesman makes this system sound amazing when he claims that this system works on complete autopilot and the 98% of the work is done for you.

All you have to do is follow the duplicatable system to get paid. Sounds cool?

Everything he says about 25 Dollar 1 Up sounds very exciting because it seems to be the system that will finally make you the money you deserve.

25 Dollar 1 Up is one of those programs that require you to recruit other people into the same system in order to earn money.

Your job will be to get other people into the program and get them to invest in the 25 Dollar 1 Up packages for you to make 100% commissions.

Everyone involved in 25 Dollar 1 Up purchases and sells the same. They don’t offer any physical products or services to the public which is a red flag and I’ll tell you why later.

I have reviewed hundreds of products and programs in this website and have come across many systems like this one so I know how it really works and I also know why this is not as good as advertised.

How 25 Dollar 1 Up works

25 Dollar 1 Up works in a way that you are forced to recruit other people into the same system for you to earn commissions.

In order to get started, you will need to join under someone who is already a member and pay an initial $10 fee, which is for hosting the website you will use to drive leads to 25 Dollar 1 Up.

They offer 4 packages that you need to purchase if you want to make 100% commissions on all levels.

I mean, they only allow you to make money on the packages that you own, so you will need to purchase all packages to earn from them all.

Let’s see the costs of every packages and what’s included:

1) Gold Package – One time fee of $25. Opportunity to earn unlimited $25 payments, pre-written ads and marketing system that tracks your prospects.

2) Platinum Package – One time fee of $100. Same as Gold Package + opportunity to make $100 commissions, set up an autoresponder to build an email list, 12 banner ads to promote your other streams of income (if you have any).

3) Diamond Package – One time fee of $250.

4) Enterprise Package – One time fee of $500.

The last 2 packages have been recently added. They all include training videos on personal development and squeeze pages that you will use to capture email addresses and build your email list.

When it comes to payments, they allow you to choose online and offline payment methods which is something that I actually like, and you can also get paid the same day you make the sale.

I mean, there are programs that only use a payment method, which makes it hard for some people to get paid because some payment methods are not available in certain countries.

Reverse 1 Up compensation plan

When it comes to their compensation plan, it’s not like an MLM where you can earn on multiple levels and it’s also different from the typical affiliate program where you only earn on one level.

In this case, there are two ways to get paid:

  • Direct sales. These are the sales you make from direct referrals.
  • Qualifying sales. These sales are your direct referrals’ second sales, which pass up to you.

As I said, you will only make money from the packages that you join, which means that if you join at Gold but your referral gets the Gold ($25) and Platinum package ($100), you will only earn $25. The $100 commission will go up to the next sponsor that qualifies.

The fact that your sponsor can make money from your second sale is what makes this program different than most affiliate programs out there. This is what gives 25 Dollar 1 Up a structure that resembles an MLM business opportunity.

When you make your second sale, the commission will go up to your sponsor and the same will happen when your referrals make their second sale, it will pass up to you.

Commissions from your third sale and all the sales you make after that, will be for you.

Can you make money with 25 Dollar 1 Up?

Yes, you can make money with 25 Dollar 1 Up but it’s not going to be as easy as they claim.

There are some things that you need to take into consideration to determine whether or not this is for you.

It’s not sustainable

25 Dollar 1 Up doesn’t use a sustainable business model, which means that it will not last long.

I have come across other programs like this and they don’t last more than 3 years.

Why their business model is not sustainable? Let me explain.

They don’t offer any tangible products or services and there are no retail sales, which means that the only people that bring money into the scheme are members.

I mean, they are not selling the training packages to people outside the program so getting involved with the program is mandatory for people who are interested in learning from their training.

If they gave the option to purchase their training videos without getting involved in the business opportunity, then they would have retail sales so it would be more sustainable.

Another thing is, the fact that they don’t have monthly fees or recurring payments doesn’t guarantee that money will come into the scheme every single month.

Their focus is on recruiting other people into the scheme which is not good because it means that it will eventually fall down when people stop joining.

When a company gives more importance to the business opportunity than the actual products, it’s a red flag because it’s an indication that the products might not be high-quality.

And guess what it will happen when it falls down… all members involved will stop making money from it and left with nothing, since they don’t teach you to build your own business.

It’s not as easy as it seems

They claim 98% of the work is done for you, but the truth is that you will have to do the hardest part of this business, which is recruiting.

This business opportunity requires you to do massive recruiting because that’s the only way to make money with this system.

Well, you can also promote other income streams if you purchase their Platinum package that gives you 12 banner ads, but this will not be useful if most people who get involved are newbies who still don’t have a single stream of income.

The problem here is that the methods they teach you to bring traffic to your affiliate pages are not the best ones because they require you to do spamming on social media, which can get you ban.

I mean, they don’t teach you the ways to get free organic traffic, the best kind of traffic out there.

Another thing, this business is very risky because they don’t offer any refunds so I don’t recommend that you invest more than you can afford to lose.

25 Dollar 1 Up disclaimer

Some of the hidden costs that they don’t tell you about in the sales video are the advertising costs and the autoresponder costs, which can cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month.

It’s a cash-gifting scheme

Systems like this don’t provide any value to the marketplace because they are not selling any real products and everyone involved is doing the same.

Instead of teaching you to build something valuable, the money passes up from one member to another.

Digital Altitude and MOBE, two of the biggest players in this space, got shut down by the FTC some months ago because their business model was considered a pyramid scheme, which is illegal.

What about the testimonials?

Remember the people who appear in the sales video and claim to have made money thanks to this system?

Well, below the video you can read that the results are not typical and I’ll tell you why.

25 Dollar 1 Up testimonial (Adriana Villegas)

This woman who appears in the video is Adriana Villegas, who’s not new in the Internet marketing industry because I know she’s been involved in other systems like No Limits Team and Easy 1 Up, very similar to 25 Dollar 1 Up.

She claims to have earned like $400 the first day after joining this system and one of the reasons she’s made that money is because she already has an email list with subscribers.

Therefore, if you are completely new and still don’t have an email list or a large following, you cannot expect to make money the first day after you get started.

You first need to build your audience before thinking about making money.

Is 25 Dollar 1 Up a scam?

The answer to this question actually depends on your definition of scam.

People who are making money with this system will obviously say that this is legitimate, just to get more prospects.

But the fact that you can make money, doesn’t mean it’s legitimate. When a program doesn’t sell any products or services to the public and doesn’t benefit most people involved in it, it cannot be legal.

Some companies that used this business model have been shut down or haven’t lasted long, which is not a good indication.

Another thing I don’t like about this program is the fact that they don’t provide any information about the people who have created it.

How can we trust a program whose owners don’t show up? If they have created such an amazing system, don’t you think they would be proud enough to reveal their identities?

I personally don’t trust programs that use an unsustainable business model and doesn’t reveal any information about the people who are running it.

Because of everything I have mentioned, I conclude that I don’t recommend 25 Dollar 1 Up.

Other similar programs that I don’t recommend are these:

What about creating your own system?

If you are really serious about making money online, you cannot rely on done-for-you systems that are risky and don’t last long.

In order to generate a full-time income online for the long-term, you will need to create your own system a.k.a. build your own business using a sound business model like the one I use.

In fact, there are many people using the same business model as me and making a living online.

You will not have to sell the same thing everyone is selling because you will be able to choose a topic that you have a passion for to build your business around, and will also get access to millions of products and services to earn money from.

Another thing is, you will not have to do any spamming on social networks because you will learn how to get free organic traffic to your offers.

All of this takes hard work, commitment and time but it’s not as hard as it might seem if you use the proper training and tools.

There’s a lot to talk when it comes to this business so I created a FREE step-by-step earn money online guide where I explain how it all works:

In my free guide you will discover the 4-step process to make money online, why this business works, proof that it works, the comprehensive training and business tools I have used…

And the best part, I also show you how and where you can get started today for free! Yes, exactly, you will not have to spend a penny to check it all out and decide if this is right for you.

You will also find out the training and tools you are getting with your free account, which will help you start this business properly =)

But this is not all. My free guide also reveals how you can get free support and help from me and other like-minded people who want to see you achieve success!

I’m very happy with the messages and feedback I’ve been getting lately. This is one of the messages that make me smile:

  1. Hey Miren,
I wouldn’t wanna join after seeing the earnings part – you need to join Gold in order to promote Gold and Platinum in order to promote platinum. That’s downright a scam already in order to make you pay more.

We put in our sweat and tears in order to get customers and what happens if we get a high paying customer who wants to join higher levels? I bet we can’t earn that commission and the 25 Dollar team would reap the profit.

Thanks for exposing this scam, I hope others would avoid this program.

  2. It seems like an interesting product, ive come across many mlm products and a lot of the time, the ones that don’t sell physical products don’t seem to last very long *cough*bitconnect*cough*.
I guess there is some money to be made here but, the amount of upfront work needed on a business model that isnt very sustainable screams to me, run forrest run…
    Definitely another one to avoid!
