What is Five Minute Profit Sites said to be?
The Five Minute Profit Sites sales page reminds me of other sales pages I’ve come across in the past. To be more specific, it reminds me of the low-quality/scam products sales pages because of the typical characteristics like the high-income claim and the layout.
I didn’t want to think it was like the others so I started watching the sales video to see what it’s about.
Sam Smith, the spokesperson for Five Minute Profit Sites, claims you can use a secret software to build a done-for-you website in under 5 minutes and 17 clicks.
You don’t need any special skills or previous experience to use this software to make money. Sounds good?
According to Sam, it’s a “point & click software app designed to make fast money from affiliate marketing”.
Then, she shows you how she opens a new ClickBank affiliate account and uses the software to earn hundreds of dollars per day the first week. Really cool, right?
This software does all the hard-work for you so you only need to work 23 minutes a day.
And the best part is, they’re giving away the software for free because they want you to partner with them, which means that they will earn a commission when you make money. So… will you earn money for free?
Well, the problem is that there are some important things she doesn’t talk about which I’ll go over in the next section.
Does Five Minute Profit Sites work?
In this section, I will talk about the business model, how Five Minute Profit Sites is supposed to work and the problems I see with this.
The business model
The business model used to make money is called affiliate marketing, like they mention in the sales video.
As an affiliate marketer, you will work as an intermediary between companies and customers. You will be promoting other people’s/companies products or services and will earn a commission for each sale you make.
As someone who uses affiliate marketing to make money, I can say that this is an amazing business model when used the correct way, but the way that Five Minute Profit Sites teaches to do it is not a good way and I’ll explain why in a bit.
How Five Minute Profit Sites allegedly works
This is what they claim you have to do to make this software work:
- Click “Build Your Site”
- Sign up to ClickBank (in case you don’t have a ClickBank account)
- Type your ClickBank’s nickname into the software.
- Choose a domain name for your website.
- Sign up to Aweber.
- Enter a webform code from Aweber into the software.
- And then, the software will build an affiliate website.
Here’s how it looks:
The website comes with a custom logo, a sales video presented by a professional actor designed to convert visitors into money. It does it by promising them a free money-making system valued at $197.
When your visitors enter their email address to download the system, they will get sent to a ClickBank product through your ClickBank affiliate link. A ClickBank product like the one below:
When your visitors purchase this product, you will earn a ClickBank commission.
How Five Minute Profit Sites really works
The truth is that Five Minute Profit Sites doesn’t work as easily as they tell you in the sales video. It’s definitely not a software designed to make you fast money.
Let’s see some issues I see with this product:
- Problem 1 – You don’t have control over your website
The first problem is the fact that you don’t own the website this software creates, so you don’t have control over it.
This website is owned by the people behind Five Minute Profit Sites, so they can do whatever they want with it. If they take it away from you, you will stop earning money from it.
That’s why, if you’re are looking to build a long-term affiliate marketing business, it’s important that you own your website.
- Problem 2 – The kind of products they’re telling you to promote
Many ClickBank products are not high-quality products. For example, the product example they show in the sales video is a “make money online” low-quality product called The AZ Code, which I reviewed some weeks ago.
Low-quality products might be good to make a quick buck, but they’re not appropriate to build an affiliate marketing business the proper way because these products don’t help you gain your customers’ trust.
By promoting low-quality products, you would be doing what con artists do, so your website visitors would not trust your words and would not take your recommendations seriously.
That’s why I don’t like the fact that Five Minute Profit Sites recommends to promote “make money online” low-quality products from ClickBank.
Whether or not you end up purchasing Five Minute Profit Sites, you need to ensure that the products you decide to promote are helpful to your customers.
- Problem 3 – The Five Minute Profit Sites websites cannot get free organic traffic
The websites built by the Five Minute Profit Sites software are not websites liked by search engines like Google and Yahoo.
These one-page websites will not get ranked in search engines because they don’t provide valuable and unique content, which means that these websites will not get any free organic traffic (the best kind of traffic).
Therefore, you will need to do paid advertising to drive traffic to these websites, which is kind of risky because it requires a lot of trial and error. You will need to spend a lot of money to find out what works and what doesn’t.
When it comes to making money online, traffic is a very important part because without traffic there’s no money to be made. The Five Minute Profit Sites software can build a website for you in less than 5 minutes, but this website will not make any money if it doesn’t get any visitor.
That’s why the method taught by Five Minute Profit Sites is not newbie-friendly and definitely doesn’t work to make money for the long-term.

Is Five Minute Profit Sites a scam?
The answer to this question actually depends on how you define a scam.
If you take into consideration that Five Minute Profit Sites provides some training and tools for your money, then it might not be a scam.
However, a lot of people would call Five Minute Profit Sites a scam because what they provide is not enough to earn the kind of money they talk about.
I personally will call this a low-quality product like others I’ve reviewed:
As I explained in the previous section, the business model used it’s great but the way they’re teaching people to use it it’s not the best way, especially for beginners.
With that being said, I want to point out some red flags I’ve found so that you’re aware of what to look out for in case you come across any programs like this.
The owners don’t show up
Sam Smith is the spokesperson for Five Minute Profit Sites, but that doesn’t mean she’s the creator of this product.
The real owners of this product don’t show any picture of themselves and don’t even mention their names, which means that they’re trying to hide something.
Another thing to take into consideration is that they use stock photos and videos in the sales videos, something very common in scam/low-quality products.
For example, when Sam talks about his grandpa, the man who appears in the video is not really her grandpa, as I found out he appears in a stock video.
I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t trust programs whose owners don’t show up.
Lack of transparency when it comes to the price
I’ve lost the count of the times she claims this software is free and that they will never charge you a single dime.
However, at the end of the video, Sam claims you need to pay a $37 fee in order to cover their server costs, which is far from free.
In my opinion, people who claim something is free and then ask you to pay are not honest people and are trying to rip you off.
If you pay $37, they will allow you to use the software to build the one-page site and you will also get some training on how to monetize the website.
However, they do not provide any training on how to drive traffic to your website!!
Therefore, if you don’t know how to get traffic to the website, you will not make any money.
In order to earn the amount of money they talk about in the sales video, you will have to spend more money on traffic training.
Let’s take a look at the total cost:
- Upsell 1 – FMPS Faster Profits. A done-for-you website with content like videos, articles and reviews related to the “make money online” niche. The problem I see with this is that the products reviewed are ClickBank low-quality products and the website is not getting any traffic. Price: $197.
- Upsell 2 – FMPS Double Your Profit Sites. This is the same as the first upsell but the difference is that the videos, articles and reviews are related to various niches like self-help and weight loss. The problems are the same as before. Price: $187 or $137 (downsell).
- Upsell 3 – FMPS Traffic Tsunami. This product includes some traffic training, but it’s kind of basic. Price: $97.
Some fake claims
If you try to exite the sales page, you will see a pop-up like this:
The problem I have with this pop-up is that it’s full of fake claims. Let’s see some of them:
- Fake claim 1 – “The software will officially launch in Spain”. This is not true because the software has already launched and I’m sure that in your case it will say another country. For example, if you live in the UK, it will say something like “the software will officially launch in the UK”.
- Fake claim 2 – “A limited number are being given away for FREE”. We have seen this is not free and there’s no such thing as a limited number of “licenses” because these con artists want to sell this product as many times as possible.
- Fake claim 3 – “Someone else will take your license”. They make this claim just to get you to purchase this product as fast as possible, but it makes no sense because they want to make as many sales as possible. These scammers will never reject anyone who wants to pay them.
My shocking discovery: it’s almost a clone of another low-quality product!
I’ve noticed many similarities between this product and Profit With Alex, another low-quality product I reviewed some months ago.
The layout, colors, pop-ups and banners for both products are very similar. Let’s see some examples of what I’ve found:
Profit With Alex is also a software that is being marketed as if it were free, that’s why I believe that the owners of Five Minute Profit Sites and Profit With Alex are the same people.
According to the Profit With Alex reviews and the comments I’ve got in my Profit With Alex review, this product does not work like it’s advertised, that’s why I’m sure that Five Minute Profit Sites does not work either.
As I’ve explained earlier, having a done-for-you website is not enough because if it doesn’t get any traffic, it will not make any money. So it doesn’t matter if the software builds the website in 5 minutes and 17 clicks, the website does not come with targeted traffic included.
A real way to make money with affiliate marketing
After everything I’ve seen and explained, I conclude that I don’t recommend Five Minute Profit Sites but the final decision is up to you.
The good thing I see about it is that it’s a ClickBank product so you can get a refund if you end up not liking it in case you get it.
If you really want to build a profitable online business using the affiliate marketing business model, then you will need to build it properly from the moment you get started.
Building a website is not even the first thing to do, you will first have to choose the proper niche because it’s important that you build this business around a topic you love.
Building a website is not a big deal these days, there are tools that will enable you to have your website up and running in less than a minute. But there’s a lot of work to do after having built your website, that’s why you need step-by-step training that shows you exactly what to do, otherwise you’ll get lost.
I show you how it all works and why it works in my FREE affiliate marketing guide that you can read by clicking the button below:
You will not only learn how and why affiliate marketing works, you will also learn where to get in-depth training, easy-to-use tools and support to get started for free!

Thank you for your review of, Five Minute Profit Sites, Miren. This one sure smells like a bit of a Scam! It may not be a total scam but I can’t see people making tremendous amounts of money form it either.
It’s quite oblivious they are making their money through the 3 upsells they have. Building a substantial online business that will earn you money for years to come, you need to own your own website.
I’m going to stay away from this one!
Thanks, Jeff.
Hey Jeff,
Glad to hear that this Five Minute Profit Sites review was helpful to you =) You’re right, this product is not a total scam but it’s a little bit scammy because it doesn’t live up to its promises and are giving people false expectations.
In my free guide, I explain how and where to get everything to build an affiliate marketing business properly, hope people will find it useful!
Thanks for dropping by, have an amazing day 🙂

I also had an email about Five Minute Profit Sites and admit it sounded good.
Whenever I hear of new products to do with affiliate marketing or any other online tool, I always search for a review.
After reading your review I realise it is not worth pursuing. So thank you for saving me a lot of time and probablly money.
Karen
Hey Karen,
I see this product is being sent to many people, they want to sell it as many times as possible. There are too many low-quality products out there so it’s great that the take your time to do some research before making a final decision.
I’m happy to hear that you have found this Five Minute Profit Sites review helpful =)
Best to you,
Miren
Hi Miren, I received the same email too, but glad I didn’t spend too much time checking it out after reading this review of yours.
There are so many programs out there that sell you one-pager system, attached with bells and whistle. They make it look easy and automated so that you don’t even have to lift a finger. Even Clickbank University is doing the same thing to lure new comers.
I fell into that type of scam once and never again. Anything that’s too good to be true on the internet is probably not worth it.
Hi Cathy,
You’re right, there are too many push button systems out there, but they all work for the people who have created them, not the people who are looking to make money online.
Thanks for dropping by, have a nice day!
Miren
The five-minute profit product is another example of a low-quality product that gives online marketing and affiliate marketing a bad name.
Newbies will not realize that they are essentially throwing their money away, as they may have a site that at first glance appears to look great, but it will do only that.
A real long-term solution is to build a proper website, write reviews as you are doing, and as you do start promoting quality products, build sales pages that you own.
You picked up on a lot of inconsistencies with this one for sure. It definitely appears to be a clone of another also less than stellar product.
I have found a few gems that are out there that do not involve a great deal of cost, but they are few and far between.
Your recommendation for using Wealthy Affiliate to build a solid affiliate marketing business is solid. I have been a member for three years.
Although I am not as active as I once was, due to my online business, having grown it to the point where I need to spend most of my time focused on the business as opposed to the training platform, I do still use the many features and tools.
Hopefully, people looking for social proof will do a search before deciding to spend their hard earned money on such products and they will get your link!
Hey Dave,
Thanks for your comment! You’re right, products like this harm the reputation of the Internet marketing industry. I’m glad to hear that you’re benefitting from the training and tools provided at Wealthy Affiliate.
I wish you much success, have a great day! =)

I purchased the product then as soon as my payment went through I was sent to a blank page. Then somehow I was sent to my Google account Activity Page. Then I left that and went to my Email Box and I clicked on the download button and arrived here. I have read your article and I am going to ask for my refund of $51.00 plus dollars. As I have enough trouble working my computer plus I can’t afford to pay for an autoresponder from Aweber when I have one from Getresponse and I don’t know how to use it and it cost over $1,000.00 dollars and I was billed twice and tried to cancel both but I was forced into keeping it as they said they will only return my payment for one account, so T was ripped off by them because some jackass manager said I could not get my money back for both. So I am left with an auto responder from Getresponse that I don’t use because I don’t know how to set it up. There was nothing I could do about it, so I paid over $1,000.00 dollars for something I never used and to this day I still have it cause I’m stuck with it! As for Aweber I had no problem at all getting my money back because I had to buy one from them because I tried a different program Aspire to make money and they burnt me for $1,250.00, but I cancelled cause I couldn’t figure out how to work the program, they refused to send me back my money cause 6 days had passed and they said I was to late, that I had to cancel within 3 days. I was on step six in 6 days by the time I realised that it was to complicated for me to continue. So I got burnt for over $2,000.00 dollars in one week, and there was nothing I could do about those two companies Aspire and Getresponse. David Otto
Hey David,
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us!
Sorry to hear that you’ve got ripped off… The good thing is that you can ask ClickBank for a refund, I’ve personally always got prompt refunds from ClickBank so you at least will get your money back.
I’m glad that Aspire (Digital Altitude) got shut down some months ago because there have been a lot of people who have lost money, and MOBE (another program similar to Digital Altitude) also got shut down last week so I hope less people will fall for these kind of schemes.
Best to you,
Miren
I read a lot of things about Profit with Alex and people say really bad things about that program. I think if even the pop-ups and colors are similar it is safe to say that this program can be a copy. So I will not but it. You mentioned affiliate marketing training at the end and I wonder how long it takes to learn all the stuff.
Hey Furkan,
Most Profit With Alex reviews that I have read are negative, the positive reviews are written by affiliates that are promoting Profit With Alex just to make a quick buck, but they have not tried it.
I created a FREE step-by-step affiliate marketing guide where I explain how everything works, where you can get started for free, where you can get the tools and training to build your business and more!
Have a great day 🙂
Miren
Thank you for a well-written review! I was never a fan of done-for-you systems because like you said, it is very difficult to get free traffic.
From what I see in your review as well, not only do they want you to pay for all this information, but you would also need to pay monthly for AWeber as well, which is probably not a cost that they discuss?
Are there links within the training to bring us to AWeber? If there are, then they are probably affiliate links so they can get richer. I have seen low quality products actually try to make money through affiliate marketing themselves by promoting other products within their own products.
Hi Reyhana,
Glad that you liked this review!
Yes, you’re right, they do not mention the Aweber monthly fee, which is another red flag.
I was surprised that I did not see any affiliate links within the training because many of these low-quality products contain affiliate links to other products, just like you said.
Thanks for dropping by, have a great day =)
Miren
The upsells and the fake photo of the grandpa are ridiculous.
Sometimes you do not believe the opinions of other people but we have to see the facts.
Thanks for revealing the scam. Many people will save their money. It is not an expensive program but why should they make even one cent when they are not honest?
Hi Ilias,
Lol yeah, it actually did not surprise me that the photo of the grandpa is a stock picture. I’ve seen the same thing in many other low-quality products.
I agree, it’s not expensive but it’s not okay that dishonest people get to make money at other people’s expense.
Thanks for commenting, have a nice day =)
Miren
Thank you for this review. I come across with “Profit with. Alex and I’m thankful you mentioned it in your review I’m because they are Identical.
When I read reviews like this I’m being reminded and get wiser.
This point in time I would say that 5 Minute Profit is a scam and I’m brave enough to make sure I would share this belief to every one.
Hi Abagatan,
You’re welcome! You’re right, Profit With Alex and Five Minute Profit Sites are almost clones lol.
Thanks for dropping by, I wish you much success =)
Miren
Thanks for sharing this information. As we can’t check all of them out thoroughly, it is much easier after reading a well-done review like yours. The main problem is that we want to believe that money could be made quickly.
One thing that I noticed that many digital products price finishes with no 7, like 37, 197 etc.
Good point about not owning a website. This would be a deal breaker for me. Without free traffic, it’s almost impossible to make a good return on investment.
You were being kind not to call it a scam. However, I accept your recommendation.
Thanks for this review about five minute profits. I agree that by not owning your own site and also not being able to promote products you want is not a good way to go about making money online.
I mean what’s stopping them from taking your site down at a moments notice right?
Plus if they did you wouldn’t have any knowledge or skills on how to go about repeating the process of building a website and promoting website on your own.
Therefore I’ll stay far away from this and choose a program like wealthy affiliate instead.
I have always wondered why people would go all in financially for things that other people own and control. I have learned from affiliate marketing that it’s all in the code, and if you aren’t the one controlling it, your money is going to someone else. Thank you for the inside look at the five minute profit site… people need to know what they are doing!
Hi Clay,
You are so welcome! Glad to hear that this Five Minute Profit Sites review was helpful to you =)
I agree with you, it’s best to create something of your own instead of relying on these done-for-you systems.
Thanks for dropping by!
