What is Silk Road Effect about?
When I saw the sales page for Silk Road Effect, the word “scam” came to my mind because of the claim “the quickest way to make $1800 every day”.
I have reviewed hundreds of websites and products, and I have realized that most of those that have high-income claims tend to be scams or programs that underdeliver. So we are not off to a good start.
But I don’t like calling something a scam without knowing what it’s really about, so I took the time to do my homework before coming to a final conclusion.
According to the spokesman, he’s going to show you secret that you are not supposed to know. A secret that can supposedly help you generate huge amounts of money.
He shows some screenshots to make you believe that he’s a millionaire, but I have seen this kind of screenshots in other sales videos, so I have my doubts about his claims.
This system can apparently work for anyone no matter the experience or skills you have. “Steven” claims you don’t need to know anything about business or the Internet, so is Silk Road Effect the system that will help everyone make thousands of dollars online?
The spokesman basically tells you what you would like to hear, and the whole sales video has been designed to get you excited so that you end up making the payment.
He makes this system sound very easy to use to make $34,000 a month without having to do much work, but he doesn’t explain exactly what you will have to do to make it work.
Yes, the concept sounds simple: resell other people or brands’ products for 10x the price without having to buy them or touch them.
It doesn’t seem complicated, but succeeding in this requires way more work and effort than he claims. It’s not even new because it has been around for many years already, so he’s not being honest when he says that this is a method never seen before.

Does Silk Road Effect really work?
Silk Road Effect doesn’t work the way “Steven” claims because this is not a system you can count on to become a millionaire within 12 months.
You see, he first says that this system will make you $34,000 a month and then he says that it will make you a millionaire in less than 12 month, which makes no sense because $34,000/month equals $408,000 a year instead of $1,000,000 or more.
Even though it’s possible to generate that kind of money, it’s not as easy & fast as he claims. It definitely takes a lot of time and effort to make it happen, no matter the method you use.
Don’t you think that if building an ecommerce business came with ease, most people would have already made a fortune online? So don’t be fooled by scammers who want you to believe this is easy and quickly!
If you buy Silk Road Effect, you will get some training on how to start your dropshipping business, which is a form of ecommerce.
Dropshipping is about selling other people’s physical products without having to purchase them and without having to touch or see them.
You can sell products from other online stores like Amazon and eBay. You first find the products you want to sell, then you list them and after making a sale, you tell the supplier to ship the item directly to the buyer. Your profit is the difference between the amount paid by the buyer and the item’s initial price.
Making a sale doesn’t mean that you will profit because your profit depends on the profit margin. If the product you sold was cheap, then you cannot expect to earn that much.
The fact that there are lots of competitors selling the same products is something that will make it harder for you to be the one who makes the sale, especially when you are getting started because you will have no reviews.
Therefore, when you are starting out you will have to sell the items/products for low prices to get people to buy from you. This is the way you will get positive reviews, which will make it easier to get more people to trust you and buy from you.
With that said, building a dropshipping business takes a lot of work because you have to search for products, you have to research competitor’s prices, you also have to list them (write descriptions + add pictures), you need to manage arrangements, you are in charge of refunds and customers service…
This is something that “Steven” doesn’t mention but you need to know it before deciding if this is right for you.
Also, in case you have your own ecommerce store, you will also have to invest in paid advertising to drive visitors to your store. Without people coming to your store, there’s no money to be earned.
Therefore, building this kind of business to the point where you are making thousands of dollars a day takes a lot of time and money!
Why I do not trust Steven Jenkins
Something that I want to point out is that I don’t believe Steven Jenkins is the real owner of Silk Road Effect for several reasons.
First of all, he doesn’t show his face and he doesn’t tell us any relevant information about himself. He doesn’t reveal if he’s on social media or if he has a website.
Don’t you think he should be well-known if he’s a millionaire? He definitely should be on social networks or have a famous website/online store.
Therefore, how can we trust someone who is not transparent about who he is?
After having reviewed hundreds of products, I have realized that websites whose owners don’t show up tend to be low-quality products or scams. So it wouldn’t surprise me that Steven Jenkins wasn’t the real name of the owner of this program.
Apart from that, Steven Jenkins is the name that was used for the owner of a scam program called Daily Cash App, which I exposed some months ago.
Also, the photo they used for Steven Jenkins was a stock photo, which means that he was a fake character in the Daily Cash App.
This is something that leads me to believe that the con artists behind Daily Cash App and Silk Road Effect are the same people and they are using the “Steven Jankins” name for various scam systems.
There’s a lack of legal information
A big red flag is the fact that they don’t provide any information on how they are going to use your personal information or what their rules are.
They don’t provide any privacy policy or terms & conditions page, which are the kind of pages that you would expect to find in a legitimate website.
Many of the websites I have reviewed that don’t have this legal information have ended up being low-quality programs or scams.
This is very common in the kind of scams that collect people’s email addresses and sell them to other individuals or companies.
In this case, if you provide them with your email address, you can expect them to sell it to other unethical marketers. So you may receive emails from people you haven’t subscribed to.

Other lies
I want to point out two lies they tell you because I believe you need to be aware of them, since they are very common in scams.
Firstly, “Steven” says that you will never see that video again if you leave the page. This is similar to the fake scarcity tactic they use to get you to make you afraid of missing out, just so you purchase this product as fast as possible.
Another lie they tell you is that you can make money without needing capital.
This is completely fake because you need to take into account all the costs involved like paid advertising, a domain name for your online store, hosting…
Also, if you buy Silk Road Effect for $17, you can expect to get bombarded with some upsells because that’s how products like this work.
You see, it wouldn’t make any sense that they were selling something that can supposedly make you thousands of dollars for only $17.
Is Silk Road Effect a scam?
It’s really up to you to decide if Silk Road Effect is a scam or not.
In my opinion, it’s very misleading because the sales page is full of fake claims and a lack of important information.
The owners of this product are not being honest about what you are exactly getting after making the payment, and they are not even being transparent about their identity.
Would you purchase a t-shirt without knowing the size and the color? You wouldn’t, am I right?
So this is what happens with Silk Road Effect, you are not told what’s on the inside and how it will help you make the kind of money they talk about.
What I can guarantee is that it doesn’t provide what you need to become a millionaire or make $34,000 a month.
This is another product that promises you the world but underdelivers, and this is something that you realize once you have made the payment. Well, you now know the truth thanks to this review 🙂
At the end, you can do whatever you want with your time and money. But after everything I have mentioned, I conclude that I do not recommend Silk Road Effect.
The way to say bye to the BS programs
So, how can you stop wasting your energy on scams and programs that don’t work? You need to keep in mind that building an online business takes time, learning, patience and consistency.
Nothing great happens by pushing a few buttons or buying a product. This is just like anything worth achieving in life, it comes with effort.
When I realized that, I stopped wasting my time & money on get-rich-quick schemes and I’m glad that I found a legitimate business model that has given me a way to earn a 4-digit monthly passive income online.
This business is quite similar to dropshipping because it’s also about selling other people’s products without you having to purchase them.
However, it’s different because this business model I use allows you to earn money from both digital and physical products, and you are not required to manage arrangements or deal with refunds.
Also, this business doesn’t even require you to spend money on advertising. You will be able to send traffic to your offers for free! Sounds cool? 🙂
You see, I’m living proof that this business works! There are some days that I earn over $200, as you can see in the screenshot below:
To be completely frank, this business is only for people who are committed to learning and taking action.
There’s a lot to say about it so I’m not going to explain everything on this post because it would be too long lol.

Hi Miren,
Thanks for the review about Silk Road Effect to know if its a scam or not, I have fallen victim to sites like this, sites that do promise getting rich overnight. How in the world is it possible to make $1800 in a system you are just getting introduced into? It’s embarrassing the kind of lies these websites claim just to get people involved or worse scammed. Thanks for posts like this, you are doing a great job.
I think you were being generous in giving silk road effect a 3 out of 10. In my opinion, silk road effect deserves a 1 out of 10 because it is a program that is shrouded in a lot of lies. Dropshipping business is not something you start without capital because you need to have an online store. For a new online store I wonder how you’ll make $1800 daily. The business model is good but the financial claims has been over exaggerated. Thanks for exposing this.
Hi Miren – great review of the Silk Road Effect, this was a new one to me. It sure would be nice to earn $1,800/day, but totally unrealistic. You are so right, whenever a business claims to provide such high income potential, you really have to be cautious about moving forward. It’s amazing what people will do to try and scam money out of you.
Thanks for doing the research into this one. Definitely not one 8 will be pursuing.
Michele
Thank you so much for giving us a heads-up about “The Silk Road Effect”. There are just so many of these ads that all have the same theme but do not tell you anything about the product and when you join you get nothing remotely of any value to you.
Your Wealthy Affiliates offers Free Accounts but I would like to ask a question, or 2 first.
1. Do have to pay for the websites after 30, 60, or 90 days?
2. Do you have to pay hosting fees for the websites?
The reason I ask these questions is that it is the norm that once you open your “Free” account, you usually have to pay for the website after 30, 60, or 90 Days or you have to pay for hosting and this is never disclosed to you before you sign up for your Free account.
It would be awesome to find a system that actually gives you it all free to try. If such a system worked, I would then happily upgrade if there was an upgrade that made it work even better.
Thanks for an informative article
