What is Postal Jobs Source about?
I’ve found 15 identical websites for Postal Jobs Source. The oldest one was registered in 2015 so this is been around for at least 3 years already.
I personally don’t like when I find multiple identical websites that are being used for the same thing because that’s what scammers do.
I have noticed that scam artists usually purchase different domains and use them for the same scam, so it’s never a good sign to find duplicated sites.
Ok, what is Postal Jobs Source about?
They claim to help you get a US postal service job. According to them, these are the benefits of a job like this:
- You can start making from $14.92 to $33.10 per hour.
- The job security is great.
- They provide paid training on the job
- Potential life-long government employment
- You get paid vacation and holidays, health insurance, life insurance and retirement
Sounds good, doesn’t it? And what do you need to qualify? You just need to live in the US, be at least 18 years old and have a GED or high school diploma. That’s it, you don’t need any previous experience.
It all sounds good but I felt something was not right about this when I found out these multiple duplicated sites.
Therefore, I kept on researching after finding some red flags that left me skeptical.
Does Postal Jobs Source work?
After doing intensive research, I came to the conclusion that Postal Jobs Source is not what it appears to be. More on this later.
Now let’s see how this is supposed to work.
First of all, you will have to fill in a form with your personal details like your name, your phone number, your email address, your address… And then you will have to complete another form with your credit card details to pay the $48 fee, which is for the registration package.
This package is said to include the following:
- Personal job counselling
- A guide about the Postal Service hiring process
- Access to a list of Postal Service job openings
- Salary gradings
- Questions and answers to prepare you for the exam the US Postal Service requires you to take.
This package is supposed to help you get a good score for the exam that will determine whether or not you get hired.
I personally don’t like the fact that they don’t say anything about the kind of help you’re going to get. They don’t say anything about who’s going to help you or how they’re going to do it.
In my opinion, the information they provide is not enough to determine whether or not paying the $48 fee is worth it.
Is Postal Jobs Source a scam?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the truth is that Postal Jobs Source is a scam.
I have to say that it doesn’t look like a scam as they don’t make any outrageous claims and the website looks legitimate.
But scams come in all forms nowaways do we can’t trust a website just because it looks professional. There’s so much more to it so we need to look at its “internal beauty” too.
That’s why I’m going to point out the red flags I’ve found out and other things you need to know.
Isn’t this only for US citizens?
They claim this is only for people who live in the US, but want to know what I have noticed?
When I took a look at the form you need to complete, I saw that they give you the option to choose a country.
So I don’t get why they first claim that you need to be a US citizen to qualify but then they’re doing it international.
In my opinion, this is misleading and a red flag because it’s an indication that they don’t really care where you’re from, they just want anyone to pay for the $48 fee.
I mean, if they were really serious about their claims, they wouldn’t have thought of letting everyone pay for the package.
In my opinion, they would first have to ensure you meet the qualification requirements before giving you the chance to pay for the package, since this job opportunity is not for everyone.
Fake contact information
They don’t provide any email address to get in touch with them, which is already a red flag.
But that’s not all. The two addresses they provide are not the real location where they’re operating from.
I know this because I looked up those addresses and found out that the first one is registered to The UPS Store:
And the second address is for Kansas Counselors:
Why are they hiding where they’re really operating from? The fact that they lie about this is a big scam sign because it indicates that they don’t want us to get in touch with them. They don’t really care about helping us.
No information about the people behind Postal Jobs Source
What about the woman from the video presentation? She doesn’t present herself so there’s no way to know who she really is, even though she looks similar to other Fiverr actresses who I’ve seen take part of scam videos.
Apart from that, the people behind this scam don’t show up, something that doesn’t surprise me because scam artists usually hide their identity or lie about it. They lie about their addresses so why wouldn’t they hide who they really are?
The only thing I’ve found out is that Postal Jobs Source belongs to a company named Labor Services. You can read about this in the disclaimer at the bottom of the Postal Jobs Source website:
After that, I looked for information about US Labor Services and found these 2 complaints:
In the first review they mention one of the multiple websites this scam is operating from. Both of them mention the ridiculous 200% money back guarantee claim.
I personally believe that the 200% money back guarantee makes no sense because there’s no way someone is going to give you free money just for buying a package. It’s one of the “too good to be true” claims that prove Postal Jobs Source is a complete scam.
The FTC alerts of this scam
When I was searching about US Labor Services, I found an article written by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which talks about government job scams.
It doesn’t mention Postal Jobs Source but it explains how this scam works. As you can read in the part I highlighted in the screenshot below, this scam they’re describing works exactly like Postal Jobs Source.
These scammers do not even give people their money back after realizing they’ve been ripped off. The money back guarantee is completely fake.
My final verdict on Postal Jobs Source
After everything I’ve found out and everything I’ve explained in this review, I conclude that Postal Jobs Source is a fraudulent money-making opportunity and not a legitimate place to get a postal service job.
The final decision is up to you, but there’s no way I can recommend Postal Jobs Source.
I’ve realized that scammers are creating scams that look legitimate lately. A lot of these scams don’t make outrageous claims of making money fast so sometimes it’s hard to spot them. That’s why you always need to do your research.
If you want to get a postal service job, I suggest that you go directly to the USPS site and see how you can apply.
