What is Photo Job Zone?

Photo Job Zone is a website that claims you can make a lot of money to by taking photos and uploading them to their site.

They’re like an intermediary between their customers and high paying corporations that make it easy to generate thousands of dollars per month, according to the information on their website.

They claim there are thousands of potential buyers that need pictures for magazines, websites, books, catalogs, ads… so you can upload as many pictures as you want and the fact that there’s no limit when it comes to the times a picture can be bought makes it sound like this is a great opportunity to make passive income, right?

I personally don’t like sites that claim it’s easy to make thousands of dollars per month without doing much work because making money online requires real work, time and persistence, among other factors. Most sites that make claims of easy and fast money end up in the list of scams sites.

“easy to make thousands of dollars per month”

According to them, these are some of the features of this money-making opportunity:

  • No experience is required so you don’t need to be a professional photographer.
  • You only need a camera with 5 megapixels, an Internet connection and a laptop or smartphone.
  • You can be your own boss and work whenever and wherever you want.
  • You can spend your time taking pictures of anything you love like nature, animals, family…
  • It doesn’t matter where you live.
  • You can earn from $1 to $125 per picture.

How does Photo Job Zone work?

In order to get started, you have to pay $1 for a trial of five days and then $24.95 per month.

After joining, you get to follow their training system and submit all the pictures you want through their guided sites.

And then you’re supposed to start making money.

The thing is, they make it sound like it’s so easy to start earning money but they lack important information in my opinion. What if the pictures you submit don’t get approved? And what about the file size and the colour profile?

Not all pictures you submit will get approved. There are some factors that need to be taken into consideration when it comes to the pictures you want to sell, and this is something they don’t explain.

Is Photo Job Zone a scam?

I don’t consider Photo Job Zone to be an outright scam but I found out some red flags that indicate this site may not be what it claims to be.

.

No information about the owners

There’s no information about the people who have created PhotoJobZone or the history of their company.

They don’t mention anyone and don’t show any picture so there’s no way to know who’s behind their website.

The fact that they don’t share any information about them means that they’re trying to hide something, which is a red flag as it indicates a lack of transparency.

This is something scam artists usually do so that people don’t know who to persecute once the scam has been unveiled.

.

They don’t explain what you’re exactly getting

I read they’re offering training and a list of sites to submit your pictures but is it actually worth the $24.95 monthly fee?

I mean, once you get to know the sites where you can sell pictures, why should you keep paying $24.95 per month?

They don’t say whether they’re going to update or improve their training or anything else they offer. They don’t explain what their Premium membership exactly includes.

For example, I’m in a digital marketing platform called Wealthy Affiliate where the training, courses and tools are constantly being improved and updated, so I believe paying the monthly fee of $49 or annual fee of $359 is worth it because of the high quality service you’re getting.

.

There are no positive opinions/reviews on Photo Job Zone

I’ve found out Photo Job Zone has a Facebook page called Online Photo Jobs and I’m wondering why their Facebook page name is different than their website name.

Even though they have more than 40K likes (they must have spent a lot of money on Facebook ads), I checked out the comments and there are no positive ones. Some people even think it’s a scam.

Another thing to take into consideration is the fact that they’re part of the ClickBetter affiliate network, which means that people can earn commissions by selling Photo Job Zone to others.

I know some affiliates write fake reviews to promote scam products and make a quick buck, so it’s weird that no one has written a review to promote Photo Job Zone.

.

What about their terms?

If you scroll down to the bottom of the Photo Job Zone site or check out their terms page, you can read that the typical person who purchases Photo Job Zone doesn’t make any money, as you can see below:

Then why do they claim you can earn thousands of dollars easily? Well, I guess they think you will not check out their terms or disclaimer.

However, this proves that making money with this system is not as easy as they claim.

.

My final verdict

I believe Photo Job Zone is not the best place to get paid to take pictures. Their site doesn’t look like other scam sites but after finding the red flags I’ve explained, I will not purchase it.

What I like about it is the fact that they offer a 60 day refund so you can try it if you want and then ask for a refund if you don’t make any money. It may be possible to earn some money but not as much as they claim so their monthly membership might not be worth it.

I won’t be recommending it because they don’t live up to its promises and I don’t like the fact that there’s important information they don’t talk about and they aren’t honest about what it takes to make money online.

If you’re looking to make money online as a photographer, I suggest that you follow other photographers on Instagram and YouTube and see what they’re doing. In case you’re searching for places where you can sell your pictures, you can check out sites like Fotolia, Shutterstock or 123RF.

If you’re looking for a legitimate & ethical online money-making opportunity, then my favorite digital marketing platform will benefit you.

This platform is quite affordable (free to join by the way) and offers step-by-step training, courses and other useful tools that will teach you to build a thriving business online based on your passion.

I love many things about this platform, one of them is that there are many ways to get help and support from other members and the owners.

You can literally ask a question and there’s always someone willing to give you a hand. You can rest assured that you don’t have to do this alone, I’ll also be there to help you out!
